Spooky Biscuits πŸŽƒ

Hello everyone! Today I want to start a new section of this blog that will be dedicated to baking, since – like books and movies – it’s one of my favourite things. To start on a good note, today I’m going to show you a recipe for spooky biscuits!

Ingredients

300g of flour

125g of sugar

100g of butter

16g of baking powder

2 eggs

AΒ pinch of salt

Grated peel of a lemon

For the icing

500g of icing sugar

2 egg whites

100g of dark chocolate

First of all, melt the buttter and leave it to cool. Once it’s cool, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, starting with a spatula.

When you won’t be able to use a spatula anymore, it’s time to start getting the dough together with your hands. Make a ball with the dough and wrap it in some transparent film and let it rest in the fridge for an hour.

After an hour, take out the dough, stretch it out with a rolling pin and cut out the shapes of your biscuits.

Put them in the oven at 160Β°C for about 10-12 minutes and let them to cool.

Once they’re cool, you can start to ice them. To do the icing, whisk together the egg whites and the icing sugar. Put the icing in a piping bag and pipe it on the biscuits. Melt the dark chocolate and use it to decorate.

Here they are! They taste very very good and they are super easy to make!
